One. A single installer per operating system — a .dmg for macOS, an .exe for Windows. Light and Standard are the same application: the licence key you paste after your trial decides which features stay unlocked. Moving from Light to Standard later means entering a new key, never downloading anything again. On Windows you can also install Clappy straight from the Microsoft Store — same app, same licence, same trial.
The installer itself is small — 749 MB on macOS, 441 MB on Windows — and about 2.5 GB once installed. On first launch Clappy fetches the AI models it needs — and only those for the features you actually use, so expect 2 to 15 GB more on disk. That's the price of running every model on your own computer instead of a server: after that first download, nothing is ever streamed, and Clappy keeps working with the Wi-Fi off.
You don't have to decide now — the trial unlocks everything for 15 days, so you can see what you actually use.
